Regular Slotted Container (RSC)
The most widely used shipping case. All flaps meet at the centre, making it efficient to produce, tape, stack and pack. A practical starting point for ecommerce, wholesale case packs and general distribution.
Custom corrugated shipping boxes engineered for ecommerce, retail and 3PL fulfilment. Choose RSC, FOL, HSC or custom die-cut structures with branded printing, inserts and DDP delivery.
Built for shipping. Designed for your brand.
Protect products in transit without sending customers a generic brown carton. YiHongBox manufactures custom corrugated boxes in the size, board grade, print coverage and structure your packing line requires—from everyday RSC cases to full-overlap cartons and custom die-cut shipping formats.
This page focuses on transport-ready corrugated cases rather than presentation-first custom mailer boxes. If your priority is stacking strength, efficient case packing, export delivery or compatibility with a 3PL, we will engineer the box around the product, packed weight, route and handling conditions.
The most widely used shipping case. All flaps meet at the centre, making it efficient to produce, tape, stack and pack. A practical starting point for ecommerce, wholesale case packs and general distribution.
Outer flaps overlap across the full width for additional top-and-bottom protection. Often considered for heavier products, flat products or packs that need more resistance to rough handling.
An open-top corrugated case used with a separate lid or as a display-ready tray. It can simplify loading for taller items, bundled products and retail replenishment.
Tabs, reinforced corners, hand holes, tear strips, dividers or self-locking features can be incorporated where a standard slotted case does not fit the product or packing workflow.
Mailer box or shipping box? A mailer usually uses a self-locking roll-end structure and is designed around the unboxing experience. An RSC/FOL shipping case is normally tape-sealed and optimized for transport, palletization and case packing. Read the full mailer box vs. shipping box comparison.
Flute choice is not a style decision alone. The correct specification depends on internal dimensions, gross packed weight, fragility, stacking time, humidity exposure, print expectations and the courier or freight route. We can recommend a trial specification after reviewing these inputs.
| Board option | Typical strength/appearance | Common purchasing use |
|---|---|---|
| E-flute | Fine profile with a smoother printable surface | Smaller or lighter products where presentation and compact size matter |
| B-flute | Good puncture resistance and everyday shipping performance | Ecommerce orders, retail replenishment and general transport cartons |
| C-flute | More cushioning depth and stacking support | Larger products and applications needing additional protection |
| BC double wall | Two fluted layers for demanding routes and heavier loads | Export cases, heavier products and multi-unit wholesale packs |
These descriptions are general guidance, not performance guarantees. Final board construction should be confirmed by sampling and, where needed, transport testing. For a closer comparison, see our guide to E-flute vs. B-flute and our overview of corrugated box types and uses.
Efficient for bold logos, handling marks and limited-colour designs on kraft or white corrugated board.
A printed sheet is mounted to corrugated board for sharper colour, fine detail and presentation-led graphics.

Available treatments can include matte or gloss lamination, aqueous coating and spot effects, depending on the printing method and transport requirements. Our team will flag finishes that may scuff or crack on folds before sampling. Need additional product restraint? Combine the shipper with custom box inserts, corrugated partitions, molded pulp or paper cushioning.
Carriers commonly compare a parcel’s actual weight with its dimensional weight and charge based on the applicable higher value. That makes unused space a commercial issue, not only a sustainability issue. The objective is to reduce avoidable void while preserving the clearance, cushioning and compression performance your product needs.
