Frequently Asked Question

Dry ice typically lasts 18 to 36 hours in a standard insulated shipping box, depending on several factors such as:

  • Amount of dry ice used

  • Box insulation quality (e.g., thickness of the foam)

  • External temperature during transit

  • How often the box is opened

For longer-lasting cold retention, it’s best to use a high-quality dry ice shipping box with at least 2” of insulation and limit openings during transport. For extended shipments (2+ days), additional dry ice or specialized containers may be required.

Our standard MOQ for dry ice shipping boxes starts at 500 units. Bulk orders benefit from tiered pricing.

Lead time typically ranges from 10–15 business days after artwork approval. Urgent orders can be expedited upon request.

Our boxes use heavy-duty corrugated cardboard on the outside and EPS foam or thermal liners inside to retain cold temperatures and minimize dry ice loss during transport.

We serve a wide range of industries, including:

  • Frozen food distributors

  • Seafood exporters

  • Biotech and pharmaceutical companies

  • Laboratory testing services

  • E-commerce sellers of frozen goods

Place dry ice on top of the items (cold air sinks), use gloves, leave some ventilation space, and avoid airtight sealing to prevent gas pressure buildup. We’re happy to provide dry ice packing guidelines upon request.
